It’s All About Perspective
Community Member Spotlight
Meet our Founder – Sara Ferguson
Why did you create Bridge Weaver Friends? I created Bridge Weaver Friends (BWF) first and foremost because I believe that people just want to be accepted for who they are. BWF is a safe and non-judgmental place where people can learn to fully embrace their most authentic self while also helping others to do the same. Second, there aren’t many places where you can talk about current events in a safe and non-judgmental place. I created BWF for people who understand that we are just humans trying to make our way through life. People who are open to listening to other people’s perspectives and doing their best to come to a mutual understanding.
How did you choose the name? I wanted to play off my maiden name which is Brucker. Brucker means bridge builder in German. I chose weaver because I believe when we weave perspectives together, we can build stronger bridges in our relationships and our community.
How did you choose the logo? I knew I wanted a bridge to depict my maiden name. I also wanted a goldfinch. Goldfinches have been my symbol for joy and transformation since I began my authenticity journey 2 years ago. My daughter is a graphic designer. She designed several logos for me and we chose this one. I think it is a beautiful representation of the two main visions of Bridge Weaver Coaching: helping people bridge the gap between their internal self and their external persona and encouraging honesty, vulnerability and transparency so we can build stronger bridges in the community and our relationships.
What are you most excited about? I am an ambivert. I love being at home, but I also love getting out. However, I’m not a great initiator when it comes to making new friends. I am very excited to start meeting new people through the BWF community. I know the BWF community’s combined interest in growing in our authenticity while helping others grow in theirs will strengthen not only my confidence but I hope many others as well.

Monthly Challenges
Every month we will have challenges to get you outside of your comfort zone. Sometimes they will be easy; sometimes they will be a bit harder. These challenges are also a good way to help you figure out what you like and don’t like. You will have the opportunity to talk about your experiences at the weekly Authenticity Bridge Support Q&A sessions (attendance optional).
Spiritual: Watch an online church service (different denomination or religion). Think about how it made you feel? Did you like the different perspective? Did you agree with what they were teaching?

Egocentrism vs Perspective by Sara Ferguson – To read the full newsletter and blog, click here: Membership Details
I’ve been wanting to write a blog about perspective but haven’t been able to get the words to form until now. Perspective is a huge part of what I’m trying to create with Bridge Weaver Coaching. I want to be able to help people understand that there is usually more than one way to look at any situation. More importantly our perspective isn’t just based on interpretation; it’s deeply rooted in the personal lens of our belief system, past experiences, and current mental and physical health. If our country is going to heal, we need to start learning to ask more questions so we can see past the personal lens.iences, and current mental and physical health.
